The Lord appeared to a man and showed him a huge rock. The Lord told the man that his purpose was to push the huge rock. The man did this day after day, month after month. He came back after many years and said, “Lord, I have laboured long and hard in your service putting all my strength to do that which you have asked. Yet after all this time I have not been able to move the rock. I am sorry I have failed in my purpose.”

To this the Lord responded, “My child when long ago I asked you to serve me, I told you that your purpose was to push against the rock with all of your strength, which you have done. Never once did I mention that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push the rock. Your purpose was to be obedient and this you have done. I, my child, will now move the rock.”
Beloved, rest and find peace in your divine purpose and there, encounter God. Ask God to give you peace in your purpose, for when you cast your burdens on Him He will care for you. Trust the Lord to guide you along the journey of life. Obediently pursue God and express your adoration to Him at all times.
“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”
Psalm 55:22 KJV
Your divine purpose is to pour out your whole heart and soul to knowing God, pursuing Him and bringing Him glory. When you feel worry at any point in time that you’re not pursuing him enough, that is a sign that you need to be more intentional in making time to seek His face and dwell in His presence.

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:2 KJV
Discern God’s presence in your present reality. Are you confident in your purpose to bring God glory and enjoy His presence? If you’re not, rejoice in your fear and doubt about your purpose. Find peace in the uncertainty that you feel. God celebrates your humility but resists the proud.
God will not permit the godly to slip and fall. Trust him to save you even when you miss your way. Deepen your understanding of scripture in order to remain aligned to His perfect will and instructions.
“Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:”
Isaiah 26:4 KJV
God keeps you in perfect peace when your mind is stayed on Him and you trust in Him. May God meet all of your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Let the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your heart and mind as you focus on pushing your rock and quit worrying about how to get it to move.

May the Holy Spirit guide you in peaceful purpose because maintaining peace in pursuing purpose is a sure sign of your trust in God’s omniscience. He has the blueprint of your destiny. Wouldn’t you rather trust Him? Dare to encounter God!
With love, Esinam.
