Another sign that shows you are a threat to the kingdom of darkness apart from experiencing unusual seasons of isolation, early or prolonged spiritual attacks, being highly sensitive to the presence of God is that you are highly compassionate about the afflicted, sick needy, ignorant or lost.
“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick. ” – Matthew 14:14. The scripture states that Jesus healed the people because he had compassion on them. Why did he have compassion on them? Because, when he saw these people in bondage, he felt a burden to liberate them. Remember, it was this same Jesus Herod wanted to eliminate when he was a baby. Why?
Acts 10: 38 says “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.”. He was anointed to bring an end to the works of Satan, and for that matter, demons didn’t like Him. Some of them said to Him, ” Why have you come to deal with us before our time?” for they knew Him. This compassion I’m talking about is not normal. You know some people may see the sick and just feel bad or sorry for them, and it ends there. The best they can say to them is ” please take your medicine and get well soon,” which is not bad. That’s how they demonstrate their love or compassion to the afflicted or sick, but for you, it’s so different. When you see people sick or hurting, you feel you are the one going through that ordeal. Your immediate response is to find a quick solution for their sicknesses. In fact, sometimes you wish their sicknesses could be transferred to you so that they will also experience good health. The worst scenario is when a sick person you felt you could have done something about their health dies. When that happens, you lose your peace and even sleep. You can spend hours in prayer asking the Lord why a particular sick person died or is even sick and what can be done to reverse their condition. That’s compassion. The Holy Spirit is the one that implanted that deep compassion in your soul and spirit so that you can rely on Him for a solution.
If you are a medical doctor, in fact, a called one and not someone who went into the field to satisfy their carnal desires or honor their parents, you would also have the same feelings as someone who’s called into ministry just that yours will be tailored towards medicine which is another area God uses to bring health to His people. When you see a patient in pain in your ward, you try everything within your power to get them well. You always have this burden to help the sick. Sometimes, you can even use your money to pay patients’ medicine. You derive so much satisfaction when you see them healed through you. For you and the one called into ministry, don’t expect the devil to spare your health. He will attack it, but you won’t die. Until you feel what sick people feel, you may not understand how it feels to be sick and how it feels like enjoying perfect health. The devil sees you as threat because he knows that with your healing or medicine anointing, you will do so much for Jesus and restore health to His people ” But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.’ – Jeremiah 30:17. You are an agent of healing and, by extension, a serious threat to the dark kingdom. Hold on to the horns of the altar and let that healing grace be activated. Pray for the sick and you, the medical doctor, continue with your job. Be encouraged!
As a financial apostle, for you you may have a lot of financial problems now. When you see people in lack who can’t get food for themselves, can’t pay their rent, or you see a struggling church or community, you feel so bad are always like ” I wish I had money….” The interesting thing is that as you may have your own needs unmet, you will be more concerned about other people’s needs. When you get the cash you really need, what do you think you will do? You may have been employed for sometime now, though you are more than qualified to get a job. Brother, get the job now and see the speed at which you will do incredible things for yourself, family, and the people connected to you. God has allowed this season for a purpose. It’s a learning process. The devil is not a factor here and is not stronger than God. He has allowed the attack for you to depend on Him so that when he finally deals with the devil, you will give all the glory to God. The devil knows you but unfortunately you don’t know yourself and you always complain.
I declare and decree through you, the sick shall be healed, the afflicted delivered, the hopeless shall find hope, the barren shall conceive, the unmarried shall be married in the name of Jesus. This is all because “you are the Lord’s battle axe and a weapon of war”!
