You are a Threat to Satan (6)

Another sign that shows that you are a threat to the kingdom of the devil is that you easily influence people. This simply means that the mantle of leadership is upon you anywhere you go. These places could be in your immediate environment, family, school, place of work, and even in church. You’re always singled out to lead. I remember, wheh I was in school, anytime, we had to choose a class prefect, almost everyone in the class mentioned my name. The more I tried running away from that leadership mantle, the more I was chosen in my subsequent classes. With time, I noticed that people always gather around me for counsel. Have you ever had this experience in your life?In some families, sometimes, God intentionally put this leadership mantle on a woman and not a man like he did in the case of Deborah who was ordained as a prophetess and a judge as evidenced in Judges 4:4-5: Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was leading Israel at that time. She held court under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went up to her to have their disputes decided. Can you imagine, a woman was not only a wife but also someone who was God’s mouthpiece, and in addition to that, she settled disputes? In other words, she was called ” My Lord or my Lady,” as judges are called. Men and women submitted to her authority. In the realm of the spirit, there’s no difference between man and woman. I know of a lady in a family who almost decides on everything peacefully and lovingly in her family even though she was still jobless. Her parents and working siblings themselves admitted she the youngest one is their leader. The devil doesn’t play with such people. He will come for them, but remember he will not succeed. If you can mobilize people and put an idea in their heads and they believe in it and follow you, you are dangerous, especially as a Christian. Even if you are not a Christian, you become a threat because if the devil can get you, this means he will get everyone under you. Sometimes, when the enemy recognizes that leadership mantle on you, what he does is that, he decides to frustrate you or attack those who are close to you ( your family or people directly connected to you). He sometimes can make your children go wayward so that naysayers can question your God or discredit your ministry or you yourself. When this happens, we are to use wisdom and pray for them and not criticize them. Why don’t people who are in the world or who are not leaders go through such an ordeal but rather figure heads? Do you have the answer now?

Matthew 4: 19- 20 reads, ” Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people. At once, they left their nets and followed him.” This is powerful.  It’s a mark of leadership. Have you noticed that, when it comes to winning souls, ushering people, or convincing people to buy a product, you are just good at it? You effortless and people buy into your ideas or follow you. It’s a unique grace that leaders have. You don’t struggle to capture the attention of men for the glory of Jesus. You are a leader and a threat to Satan. Do you know even in our families, some people don’t attend family meetings because  of disagreement? But you and I may not know a pastor, a leader in any other sphere but still decide to follow them and be loyal to their course? Why? They are leaders and God made it so. Even if a man of God has two committed members in his church, he’s a massive threat. Why do you think such people are committed to him? Is he the only pastor or leader? Aren’t there bigger or more flamboyant ministries around where such few members can go and have a better live? Certainly, there are but they choose to be with a leader who may not have anything good to offer them at the preliminary stages of his ministry. But God will prove His faithfulness in the lives of such leaders to shame the devil. Don’t mind those who insult, and tarnish your image or spread lies on you and your ministry, business or project. They will start their nonsense, but it will come to an end for He who called you is faithful.

What then must you do?. Go get books on leadership. Buy them and study around your grace. Are you called as a businessman? Get books around that field. Are you a counselor? Get books on counseling. “Study to show yourself approved” and attend seminars on leadership and put into practice whatever you learn. And ask God to multiply your grace in prayer.

For some, whenever they speak, there’s an unusual wisdom that comes out from their mouth that they didn’t think about or not planned. These people may not personally be aware of this special leadership grace upon their lives. People end up coming to them for advice and also say they’re a man/ woman of advice. Luke 21:15 “For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. There was this brother in our church who had this special grace. Anytime he spoke at meetings and gave suggestions or shared his views on pertinent issues confronting the church, I could discern the source of his ideas were not earthly but divine, trust me. I fell in love with him because the guy could speak on any issue, and you would be convinced he spoke well, and if you take his words, you wouldn’t regret it.

Don’t become proud when you notice this leadership grace on your life. Be humble for God lifts the humble and debases the proud. The more you remain humble the more God will increase you like he did to Joseph and everyone including unbelievable will know God has anointed your lips to speak his wisdom. That’s why Pharaoh asked them, “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God?” – Genesis 41:38.   Learn to talk when necessary and keep secrets.

Because you are a discreet person, I see you speaking to kings addressing nobles and counseling the great in life and society. May your tongue be losed like the way God did it for Apostle Arome Osayi who was a stammerer before the Lord lifted him.

Shalom.
