The Bloodline Effect

Praise be to the Father of our Lord Jesus who has qualified us and justified us also to be called the children of God. We Thank the LORD for a brand new day filled with His mercies and goodness. We will be glad and rejoice in it. Hallelujah!

I thank the LORD for another opportunity and privilege to share what He has laid on my heart with you today.

Today I want to go a bit deeper on my last post. I want to talk to you about the blood line effect. We live in a world where things don’t look as they seem, in a world where evil and wickedness rules. We live in a world where being good is not enough to keep evil from your door steps. In this world what you deserve does not come to you on silver platter, you only get what you fight for. By this post I want to provoke you to wage a good warfare.

1 Timothy 1:18: This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare.

As a young boy growing up, I was a good boy by many standards, was respectful, obeyed instructions, your typical church boy. I was plagued with so many illnesses growing up that I had a dedicated bed in the hospital because every month I would be admitted there. I would spend weeks in the hospital at a time from simple things like malaria. One time I was admitted in the male ward because I had grown too tall to fit into the beds at the childrens’ ward. I had grown up in a Christian home but was not born again until I made the decision to willingly accept Jesus at age thirteen. Now one night at the hospital the man on my left died, they came to collect his corpse, the night after the one on my right also died. Then I shouted to God I don’t want to be here. I said, “save me Lord”. The morning after, I was discharged and have never been admitted to any hospital after that day. That’s my testimony. I could have kept quiet and ended up like the other two, but that was not an option for me.

You see when the Bible says:

“From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subject to violence, and the violent lay claim to it.- Matthew 11:12”

Especially for the children of God living in this wicked world we have to fight for what we want. We press our way into the kingdom of God. There is a place for niceness but when it come to spiritual matters you must shout out and press your way through.

Satan is not a respecter of persons. When Jesus had fasted and prayed forty days and forty nights that was when he (Satan) appeared. So if the Son of God was tempted by Satan after 40 days and nights of dry fasting, then we must be awake to the realities of the kingdom of darkness.

One weapon the devil is using to keep people, especially Christians, is ignorance. By keeping us from the realities of the truth, we are kept from fulfilling our destiny as intended by God Almighty.

Hosea 4:6 -My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

2 Corinthians 2:11 – that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

The plan and purpose of God for us who believe is to live a wholesome life all round. But we cannot achieve this when we are ignorant of the devices of the devil. There are controlling spirits that control territories, nations, towns, villages, families and this is so because the dominion mandate was seeded to Satan by Adam. By one man sin came into the world. The effects on this action is what we see now. Satan uses legalities and technicalities to keep people in bondage. Even when they are born again because they are still ignorant these technicalities are used against them.

Spiritual Mapping:

Every family has at least one thing that is peculiar that is a sign of the influence of Satan. I was mapping out my family just yesterday and I realised there are so many things that have recurred as a cycle from grandparents that still runs in the family. On both maternal and paternal sides there are unseen barriers. By the knowledge of God’s word and by prayer I have overcome many of them in order to walk in the liberty of my salvation in Christ Jesus.

Every family has a family tree which gives the genealogy of the bloodline. In the Bible there are genealogies that can be traced all the way to Adam. If your genealogy is not documented then i would suggest you start asking the right questions and document them. After you have done the physical family tree to know who was who, who gave birth to who, what were their circumstances and realities (diseases, sicknesses, attitudes, behaviours, marriage lives, children, their responsibilities, etc)

you can do spiritual mapping by simply identifying the peculiar things that recurs from generation to generation. These peculiar cycles often are seemingly subtle yet very prominent. Some would say in my family the women don’t get married early. You realise that truly the women in that family though very beautiful may live their lives carelessly, give birth to multiple children from different men and eventually marry when they have advanced in age. There are certain families where the men don’t grow beyond a certain age. When they get to that particular age they get ill and die suddenly. There are peculiar things in every family that represents a stronghold.

If you are a Christian and you don’t pray and confront strongholds in your bloodline, these unseen barriers will keep you at bay always. And though you are born again you will be plagued with the effects of these strongholds.

In Luke 16:13, Jesus draws our attention to something very important: “Then should not this daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be released from her bondage on the Sabbath day?”

He asked; Is this not a daughter of Abraham? – Her identity was not mistaken. Mind you the devil knows who you are as a child of God. Though there were afflictions she had been dealing with for 18 years, she was present in the house of God. If she had stayed home that day she would have missed her day of liberation and deliverance. Your placement in the house of God can bring your liberation.

The Law, The Technicalities and Legalities:

A law is a means to regulate the behaviours and outputs of people; where there is no crime or wrongdoing, laws are not essential. Laws are there to be enforced on those who break them. The Bible says that by one man sin entered the world. The sin(crime) contravened the law (command/ instruction), man is now liable because of the law. If there was no law then man could be free even when he is guilty. Our Bible scholars will be quick to point out that we are not under the law but under Grace. That is rightly so, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:14”. Every child of God has the benefit of this scripture as the promise of God. This becomes our reality. If you are a Christian and sin has dominion over you, then this scripture is not fully fulfilled your life.

When you disobey the instruction (the word of God), you forfeit the benefits and the guarantees of the scripture. By so doing you give the enemy the legal right to accuse you. And so if there are strongholds in your bloodline which are activated by sin and iniquity, by reason of these sins present in your life you give the devil place in your life to enforce these strongholds. Little things like unforgiveness give place to the devil easily. And please understand that when satan gets one inch he will capitalise on it to steal a mile. John 10:10, “For the thief comes not but to steal to kill and to destroy…”.

The thing with unforgiveness is that it is easy to forget about it until the situation stirs up a bad feeling. In Ephesians 4:26 the Bible says”BE ANGRY, AND yet DO NOT SIN; do not let the sun go down on your anger.” Being angry in itself is not a sin but when it lingers into unforgiveness it becomes a sin, the command also is that even when it becomes a sin don’t let the sun set on it. Meaning forgive before the sun goes down. Reason being in order to enjoy the new mercy of God in the morning you have to be free of the sin of unforgiveness. Anything contrary to this means you forfeit the mercies of God thereby giving the devil a foothold in your life. Not obeying the command (law) makes you liable to accusation. One way to fight strongholds is to rid your heart of unforgiveness, that gives you the advantage of answered prayers.

Because of technicalities and legalities, satan can go before God as an accuser of the brethren and accuse us to God . In Zachariah 3:1, Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. The accuser goes before God with technicalities. Grace is there but if you continue in sin then you will give satan something to accuse you with.

Awareness:

Being aware of the situation gives you an advantage. Being aware of your family history and strongholds give you an advantage in prayer to confront and overcome. You can become aware by researching and doing a spiritual mapping of your family, also the Lord Holy Spirit can reveal to you through prayer the issue you need to tackle for liberation. By relying on God for help you get to deal with the problems head on.

Let me leave you with a case to ponder on. In a certain family their great grand father sought help from a river deity and promised the destinies of all the male borns in the blood line if his venture was successful. Now this old man had died many years ago, it was noticed that the young men at a certain age would suddenly die. Some were born again while others were not. So one of the young men decided to get help from his pastor when he was approaching that age. The Lord Holy Spirit revealed that their grand father had sold their destiny to the river deity that is why they were dying. Through prayer this man and his family were delivered from the stronghold.

Let us be conscious of the unseen forces that run things in our families. If you don’t confront them your children will live to fight with them. Remember life does not give you what you deserve but what you fight for.

Prayer:

Abba Father thank you for the life of this reader. I pray that you would liberate and bring deliverance to their household in the Name of JESUS! Let your Grace abound towards them to overcome every technicalities and legalities of generational sins in their bloodline. I plead the Blood of Jesus for a liberation agent to bring liberty and freedom to your children in Jesus Name! I engage the tokens of the Blood of Jesus, speaking thereof over and against very accusations from satan, in Jesus Precious Name.

I declare you librated and delivered from every power of satan in JESUS NAME.

BE LOOSE AND SET FREE NOW in JESUS MIGHTY NAME.
